  • Andy runs New England (www.newengland.uk.com), a London-based creative agency. Founded in 2008, New England creates identities, websites, literature, packaging and signage for both emerging and established brands. 

    His work is photography-led. As an art director and designer, Andy collaborates with top photographers like Marte to develop bespoke imagery which is both original and memorable. Combining over twenty year’s agen cy experience with a commitment to innovation, Andy believes that the way to elevate a brand is to discover what it really stands for. This means exploring a brand’s heritage, stories and values.

    Seeking to develop connections within the London food industry - working with leading restaurant and hotel chains - Andy conceived Chef Taster with Marte as a self-promotional project. It showcases their creative skills and will build alliances with new and exciting chefs.

  • Chef Taster combines two of Marte's great passions - food and photography. Marte started MLR PHOTO (www.mlrphoto.co.uk) back in 2006, and since then photography has taken her around the world. Born and raised in Norway, Marte has a distinctive eye for a striking image. She appreciates stylish design and works well with creative people - especially chefs.

    Marte is known for her contagious laughter. Her positive attitude towards life spills into her work life, 
    both in the way she communicates with clients but also in the style of her photography. Using light she loves to explore texture, colour, reflections, lines, tones and contrasts to create atmospheres which brings a dish to life.

    Marte has a keen interest in new technology and social media. She is always up for a conversation on twitter! Marte recently joined the team of photographers at Studio 1 Park Royal, which has plenty of studio space and not to mention a commercial kitchen!     Marte and Andy have worked together on various assignments over the last 3 years, both on location and in the studio. Their skills compliment one another well and together they have big plans for Chef Taster.
